The Y25 type bogie has been used extensively on freight wagons throughout Europe and the UK since the late 1960s. The 1.8 metre wheelbase, welded frame construction caters for up to 22.5 tonne axleloads (Gross Laden Wagon Weight 90 tonne), and a maximum 75 mile/h operating speed.
This static detailed model of a Y25 bogie is intended to be used in depot/workshop or scrapyard scenes on your layout.
