OO Gauge SET E3-1 - product code 4WH0900301

This set E3-1 includes parts to construct one (1) basic SERIES 1 - Single Insulated Cantilever (SIC) type Mast structure. 

One Pile Driven style Base is included in the kit with height spacers and magnets to fit into the base and OHLE structure. The use of magnets allows the OHLE structures to be easily removed and re-fitted on your layout.

Also included is a mast spacer tool, this will help you position the mast the correct distance from the track.

All parts are supplied unpainted; before painting it is recommended to apply a light coat of primer.

Regarding the spacing of OHLE masts, the real railway mast spacing can be vary between about 20metres and 70metres which equates to 260 to 920mm in OO Gauge. In general mast spacing is likely to be closer together at junctions and on sharper curves.

OHLE Structure kit (SET E3-1) dimensions:-

• Maximum height above baseboard (including base) - 108mm
• Overall length of Inner type structure (across the track) - 76mm
• Max width of structure/base - 14mm
• Nominal height of contact wire (if fitted to Magnetic Registration Arms) - 78mm above baseboard [wires not included]
